Diane Gray is driven by her belief in her company's project and its positive impact on the economy

WINNIPEG, MB, CANADA, June 27, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Diane L. Gray, President and Chief Executive Officer of CentrePort Canada, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in business management.

Ms. Gray possesses expertise in international business development, finance and economic development. As the president of CEO of CentrePort Canada, she is responsible for leading the development of Canada's first inland port initiative, which provides direct, multimodal access to major markets in North America, Asia and Europe. She plays a major part in growing the local economy by taking advantage of strong transportation assets, connecting businesses to global trade markets, and supporting international trade. Ms. Gray also oversees marketing and investments for the port. She attributes her success to her strong platform of skills and ability to multitask; she is also driven by her belief in the company's project and its positive impact on the economy.

Ms. Gray completed a joint Master of Public Administration program from the University of Manitoba and University of Winnipeg after obtaining an honors degree in political studies from the University of Manitoba. She worked for the Province of Manitoba from 1995 to 2009, during which time she served as deputy minister of finance, deputy minister of federal-provincial and international relations, and deputy minister of trade. Her professional affiliations include the International Trade Board of Manitoba and Biomedical Commercialization Canada Inc. Ms. Gray is also a board member of Manitoba Film & Music. She was honored with a Lieutenant Governor's Award in 2010.
