STATELINE, NV, October 19, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- 20,000 jobs will be up for grabs at a one-of-a-kind job expo in the City of Industry on January 15, 2010. The LA Football Stadium has teamed up with Joe Barter, LLC to present the Joe Jobs Expo. The Joe Jobs Expo will provide leads to real job opportunities for thousands of unemployed and under-employed Southern Californians. Tom Daley, event chairman and President of Joe Barter, one of the sponsors of the ÒJoe Jobs ExpoÓ says, ÒThe NFL stadium project in the City of Industry will employ 12,000 construction workers upon groundbreaking. Once completed, the stadium complex will provide an additional 6,700 full-time jobs. It's the right project at the right time.Ó
Participants can choose to attend either the morning or afternoon session of the Joe Jobs Expo. Limited parking restricts attendance to about 1,250 people per session. More than 100 companies will be offering positions as well. ÒWe are excited about all the sponsors and exhibitors that have been signing upÓ, said Daley. Online-only attendee registration is required for entrance to the event. The morning session runs from 9:00am to noon. The afternoon session is from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
To register, call (213) 300-3871 or log on to www.JoeJobsExpo.com.
The registration fee is $5 per person to attend one of the two sessions. The fee also includes parking, two Los Angeles Clippers tickets, refreshments, an 8-week local Sunday newspaper subscription, and a donation to the San Gabriel Valley Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
