Arcadia, CA: Local Expert Speaks at Arcadia Chamber of Commerce about Economic Crisis
John Thompson from MoneySense Education speaks about techniques to understand and maximize your home and your finances to protect yourself and your family.

MONROVIA, CA, January 11, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Business Information Group, BIG, hosted an informational session with local business leaders on December 10, 2008 to discuss the current economic crisis and the impact on local business owners. This educational seminar addressed a variety of issues impacting our community including new tax laws relating to foreclosures and the myths that have been perpetuated during the crisis.

A guest speaker was John Thompson of MoneySense Education and co-author of Borrow Smart, Retire Rich, an informative read regarding techniques to understand and maximize your ability to create financial security —particularly those related to real estate and liabilities. John Thompson is a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist and a Certified Liability Advisor who takes an interest in providing comprehensive information so that consumers and business owners may make better, more informed decisions that impact their financial lives.

At this session Thompson also addressed common questions in the marketplace regarding the availability of credit and strategies that business owners can take to protect themselves and their families.
